A great little cafe and bistro in Cape Elizabeth, Maine was looking to expand their kitchen in order to serve a more complete menu to this quiet community. One of their funding options and also a reader on the community’s engagement was a crowd funding campaign.
Working together with producer Annemarie Crivelli, we came up with this piece that highlighted a tasting of a proposed held at the Buzz, footage of some of the local farms associated and interviews with some of the locals. The piece ended up a bit longer than the traditional crowd funding videos at the desire of the owners but really shoots at highlighting the role of The Local Buzz in the community.
